Stacey Redwine

            I am Mrs. Redwine and I am so happy to be your teacher this year.  I am looking forward to having a lot of good times with you and your classmates. I thought I would begin the year by telling you a little bit about myself.

            I have been a teacher for 20 years and all but one of them has been at Teague. I have been married for 30 years to my husband Mr. Redwine. You will see him around this year, he sometimes brings me lunch. We have two daughters, one of them is the librarian at Teague, and she is Mrs. Peterson.  Our other daughter is a Nurse Practitioner and she is married and lives on a small farm in Brenham Tx.  I also have two dogs and one cat.

            I have several college degrees. I guess I really liked going to school. I have an Associate’s Degree from San Jacinto College, a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Houston Clear Lake and a Master’s Degree from Lamar University.

            I don’t stay at school all day so you might wonder what I do in my free time. My favorite thing to do is to go on a cruise. I get to do that about once a year for vacation.  I love to sew and make cute t-shirts. I have a whole room at my house where all I do is sew. I really like to read when I have time. I love the Hunger Games  series and am looking forward to the next movie. Mr. Redwine and I both love to go camping, although we don’t get to go as often as we would like to.

            I am looking forward to getting to know you and I am sure we are going to have a wonderful year!
